A vibrant and dynamic creative agency in the heart of London is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their bright finance team on a contract basis, with strong potential to become a permanent member of the team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-orientated and proactive finance assistant to grow hands-on experience in a collaborative, energetic environment.

You'll play a key part in maintaining daily financial operations with a particular focus on accounts payable (AP) with the opportunity to develop your responsibilities as the agency grows.

Finance Assistant - The Role

Processing accounts payable invoices and employee expenses
Managing supplier reconciliations and payment runs
Supporting multicurrency transactions (GBP, USD, EUR)
Assisting with month-end close and financial reporting
Liaising with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve queries
Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation

Finance Assistant - The Person

Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar finance support role

Detail orientated, proactive individual with strong attention to detail and a knack for problem solving
Confident working with Excel (lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
Familiarity with accounting systems
Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to confidently liaise with agency staff at all seniority levels
Previous experience in a creative or agency environment is a bonus
Immediately available or available on short notice is highly advantageous
